Ideal Candidate > The Client is seeking a highly capable INTERIM CFO with experience in real estate and infrastructure development and leadership roles across mega city developments or destination projects. The role requires strong capacity for overseeing the financial strategy planning and operations of the company
Tasks > 1) Oversee cash flow management and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for city operations and obligations 2) Design and approve capital projects ensuring efficient allocation of budget resources 3) Provide high-level financial analysis and input on investment decisions to evaluate the economic viability of development projects 4) Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies for liquidity credit currency exchange and tax implications
5) Oversee development of the city’s annual budget and financial plan 6) Oversee asset performance monitoring ensuring returns align with financial goals 7) Lead procurement strategies ensuring cost-effective and reliable vendor contracts and partnerships 8) Set up and continuously improve the organization's financial technology infrastructure for decision-making and reporting 9) Direct human resources operations including employee recruitment training benefits management and administrative support 10) Oversee strategic communication initiatives including public messaging crisis communication and maintaining relations with stakeholders
Required qualifications > Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA CPA or CFA strongly preferred . 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience including at least 5 years in a senior executive role (CFO Finance Director VP Finance) within real estate development construction or a related sector. Proven track record in fundraising debt structuring and managing relationships with investors and lenders. Strong knowledge of real estate project finance investment modelling and cash flow in financial governance compliance and risk management. Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Workload/Location> Full-time Based in the UAE or Egypt. Requirement to travel to Egypt or UAE could come up at 2-3 days per week on average
Start-date > Immediate need > the Candidate needs to give availability within 15-20 days after Engagement Confirmation Letter
Period of engagement > 6 months 6 months potential to convert into a full-time role
Rate > able to attract more qualified candidates
