Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare shop drawings as-built drawings and detailed joinery drawings based on design specifications and project requirements.
Read and interpret architectural structural MEP and ID drawings to produce coordinated layouts.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant local codes standards and client requirements.
Modify and update drawings as per site conditions coordination meetings or client feedback.
Collaborate with the design project and site teams to resolve drawing issues and technical discrepancies.
Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of drawings for approvals.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for drawing input where necessary.
Attend site visits for measurement verification and drawing validation as needed.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Architecture Interior Design Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a similar role specifically within interior fit-out or joinery works.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g. Revit SketchUp or 3Ds Max is a plus).
Sound knowledge of materials construction techniques and fit-out detailing.
Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
