Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the organizations procurement processes ensuring costeffectiveness and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order creation and contract closure
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify costsaving opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies UAE regulations and international trade laws
- Maintain accurate and uptodate procurement records and documentation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 35 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in contract management and vendor relationship management
- Demonstrated ability in cost analysis budgeting and supply chain management
- Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations and practices
- Familiarity with international trade laws and regulations
- Experience in international procurement practices
- Professional certification (e.g. CPSM CPM) preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
