Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Electrical Technicians to support our Electrical and Instrumentation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems troubleshooting and preventive maintenance along with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Install repair and maintain electrical systems wiring control systems and related equipment

Assist in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) activities across facilities as needed

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems

Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose effective solutions

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
-
Interpret technical diagrams blueprints and manufacturer manuals
-
Maintain accurate records of work performed including maintenance logs
-
Coordinate with other technicians and engineers to complete tasks efficiently
-
Operate company vehicles as needed for site visits (valid UAE license required)

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
-
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
OR -
Vocational training in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of practical experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation field
Skills & Competencies:
-
Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Basic computer literacy and willingness to improve skills

Sound knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
-
Ability to work independently and within a team
-
Good physical health and fitness to meet the demands of the role
Additional Requirements:

Valid UAE light-duty driving license
-
Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as required
Work Environment:
-
Field and plant-based role with exposure to varying weather conditions
-
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Physical tasks including climbing lifting and working in confined spaces
Preferred Attributes:
-
Experience in oil & gas utilities or industrial sectors
-
Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems
-
Certification in electrical safety standards is a plus
