What youll be doing:
The Visual Merchandiser will play a key role in creating visually appealing displays to attract customers and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Conceptualize and design visually appealing and innovative store displays.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align displays with promotional campaigns.
- Arrange and organize products in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Ensure products are easily accessible and strategically positioned to drive sales.
- Utilize space efficiently to maximize the impact of displays.
- Consider traffic flow and customer behavior when planning display layouts.
- Stay informed about industry trends consumer preferences and competitors visual merchandising strategies.
- Incorporate current trends into display designs.
- Work closely with store managers marketing teams and product buyers to align visual merchandising with overall business goals.
- Provide input on product selection based on visual impact.
- Implement seasonal and thematic changes to store displays.
- Provide training to store staff on maintaining visual standards.
- Ensure consistency in visual presentation across all stores.
- Manage the visual merchandising budget making cost-effective decisions.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for display materials.
Qualifications:
- At least four years of experience in visual merchandising in a furniture store
- Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising Design or a related field
