Job Description – Security Specialist Team: Delivery/Support Designation: Security Specialist – MS Solutions
Job Role: Lead and collaborate with the team in terms of delivering and
supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry knowledge
Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience including working in a
Security engineering role for at least 2 years designing implementing and supporting Microsoft security and compliance solutions
Employer: Vcyberiz Sdn Bhd Cyberjaya Malaysia Shifts: The resource may need to work Flexible Hours to provide
extended support and be available on call when required. Role: The MS Security Specialist’s primary function is to own and collaborate with the team in terms of delivering and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities: The SME/Consultant would carry out the following responsibilities:
Design and Deploy Microsoft M365 Security and Compliance Solutions Perform onboarding or Implementation of security solution for internal and
external customers for e.g. MS Purview Entra Defender for Cloud Office and Endpoint
Monitor and measure system resources and if needed resolve Issues related to security incidents related to emails changes and problem tickets
Provide inputs to technical documents based on repeat incidents and help assist SMEs during problem resolution
Troubleshoot security related service issues as they occur and follow up with after action reviews
Follow Incident Request Problem Change and Access Management processes based on ITIL and our IT-service management tool
Experience: Experience in designing implementing supporting and delivering security
solutions such as M365 Security and Compliance solutions such as Defender for Endpoint Cloud MS Purview (AIP/DLP) Entra
Requirements: Have a good experience in designing and implementing either 1 or more
of the following: Defender for Endpoint or Cloud or MS Purview or Entra
Have a good understanding of ticket management and service requests. Should have implemented solutions for global customers. Have a good understanding of Security Operations and Service Delivery. Exposure to ISO 27001 PCI related certification and compliance practices. Awareness and expertise of using at least 1 Enterprise Ticketing system. ITIL processes in supporting Security Solutions and Service Delivery.
Qualifications (Mandatory): Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Technical Degree with
certifications in Information Technology or Information Security Qualifications:
Cisco certifications such as CCNA (optional) Technical Certifications such as SC-100 SC-400 SC-200 AZ-900
(mandatory)
Skills and Abilities: Good command of English other foreign languages are a plus Good cross-cultural communication skills Ability to lead a team of security specialists and analysts Ability to interact with various teams and customer Be a Team Player and Fast Learner Share best practices and proactively suggest continuous improvements Escalate operational issues to management when needed Willing to work extended hours during incidents
Performance Criteria: Security Delivery team meets the agreed Service Level with customers. Help to keep Service Delivery documentation up to date.
