Test Engineer - Automation

Job Description

We are looking Software Test Engineer for Dubai location for 06-month extendable contractual position. Experience: 3+ Yrs Should have experience in Automation testing. Preferably experience in Mobile banking and Internet Banking. Should have basic understanding in preparation of Daily, Weekly and monthly Test Reports. Should be able to Write Quality Test Cases and Scenarios Should be able to test UI and UX journeys involved Should have strong command over English Activities to be involved in, Responsibilities • Develop, maintain and execute high quality automation tests to ensure sufficient test coverage for web applications • Implementing acceptance tests using Webdriver.io & Javascript • Participate in automation script code reviews • Working continuously with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions • Develop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders on a regular basis

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Skills/ Experience • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in API Automation development using common programming languages like Java, Java Script, Python, Ruby, Perl. • Experienced in building Test data APIs and Mocks; to implement test data driven frameworks and support API Test automation and Integration Testing of interfaces. • Extensive experience on Web and Mobile Automation using BDD/TDD Frameworks; and functional automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber, Protractor, JUnit, TestNG, etc. • Create and Maintain Automated Regression Test Packs, with source code management using tools like GitHub or Bitbucket; and CI tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps. • Document clear, concise readable test cases, execute and maintain reliable test results, manage the defect lifecycle and produce clear Test reports. • Ensure sufficient test coverage by maintaining traceability across functional and integration requirements. • Team Player with passion for Quality; quick learner, process-driven and results oriented; with good communication skills.
