Job Description
Job Title: NDT Level 3 Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience: 13 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing NonDestructive Testing (NDT) activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Developing and implementing NDT procedures techniques and best practices for various inspection methods.
- Conducting advanced inspections using NDT techniques such as UT RT PT MT VT and ET.
- Reviewing and approving NDT reports test results and quality documentation.
- Providing technical guidance and training to NDT Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.
- Evaluating and certifying NDT personnel in accordance with ASNT ISO 9712 or equivalent standards.
- Coordinating with clients contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Investigating nonconformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality assurance.
- Ensuring the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment and tools.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in NDT technologies and industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Metallurgical or related field).
- Certified NDT Level 3 as per ASNT PCN ISO 9712 or equivalent.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in various NDT techniques including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Radiographic Testing (RT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Penetrant Testing (PT) and Visual Testing (VT).
- Strong knowledge of international NDT codes and standards such as ASME API ASTM and ISO.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Effective communication and reportwriting skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings codes and specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple NDT projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
