Tiles Mason

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tiles Mason with 13 years of experience to join our dynamic construction team. As a Tiles Mason you will play a crucial role in creating aesthetically pleasing and durable tile installations for various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow engineering drawings blueprints and technical plans to determine specifications.
  

• Measure cut and lay tiles in various patterns and designs on floors walls and other surfaces.
  

• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning leveling and applying adhesives or mortar.
  

• Grout and seal tiles to ensure a smooth and finished appearance.
  

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for cutting and laying tiles.
  

• Ensure precise alignment and positioning of tiles to meet design specifications.
  

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
  

• Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  

• Collaborate effectively with team members and other construction professionals onsite.
  

• Troubleshoot and address any issues or delays that may arise during the tiling process.
  

Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience as a Tiles Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
  

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  

• Strong measuring cutting and laying skills with tiles.
  

• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in tile installation.
  

• Physical fitness and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  

• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
