Brick Mason

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Brick Mason with 13 years of experience to join our dynamic construction team. As a Brick Mason you will play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining various structures by laying bricks blocks and other masonry units.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow engineering drawings blueprints and technical plans to determine specifications.
  

• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using measuring tools and levels.
  

• Mix mortar and other bonding materials to prepare for bricklaying.
  

• Lay bricks blocks and other masonry units in a precise and uniform manner.
  

• Ensure proper alignment leveling and spacing of masonry units to meet design specifications.
  

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for cutting and shaping bricks.
  

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning leveling and applying bonding agents.
  

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
  

• Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  

• Collaborate effectively with team members and other construction professionals onsite.
  

• Troubleshoot and address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
  

Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
  

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  

• Strong measuring cutting and laying skills with bricks and other masonry units.
  

• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in bricklaying.
  

• Physical fitness and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  

• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  

• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
