Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Engage with restaurants and other food-related businesses inquiring about Talabat and drive meaningful conversations to get them to evaluate the full value of what we have to offer.
  • Act as an ambassador for Talabat's mission, brand, and product.
  • Convert leads to sales.
  • Interact with the customer for product offering, and brand awareness on time-to-time basis by meetings and calls.
  • Identify the clients who show an inclination towards the product but didn’t purchase it and follow up with them for special deals and offers.
  • Provide future vendors with the best experience by supporting them with timely and accurate information about the onboarding process.
  • Partner with the onboarding teams to smoothly bring newly signed partners online.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations, negotiate and send Request of Proposal (RFP) quoting the rates and terms of conditions to sign the contract and bring clients onboard with Talabat.
  • Maintain the records and inform the Management of contacted and not contacted leads and ensure that the records are entered into personal and automated follow-up processes.
  • Attain accurate and original logo and menu item pictures from client restaurants.
  • Obtain the information for all delivery areas in the restaurants and minimum order charges for orders.
  • Attain the information on delivery charge methodology.
  • Implement promotions, coupons, and vouchers to boost and generate sales growth.
  • Encourage restaurants to subscribe to the online payment gateway.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including:
  • Sales calls
  • Closed sales
  • Follow-up activities
  • Sales expense report
  • Presentations
  • Sales meeting report (new restaurant)
  • Daily signed contract report

What you need to be successful

What Did We Order?

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Excellent Verbal & Communication Skills
  • Driving License and Car ownership are a preference.
  • CRM Software Knowledge (optional)
  • 1-2 years in B2B sales
  • Fluent in English is a must

  • Understanding customer needs and effectively presenting solutions to meet those needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly articulate the benefits of products or services to potential customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Strong listening skills to understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.

3. Negotiation Skills

  • Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with customers while ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Overcoming objections and addressing concerns to help close the deal.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Acting as the point of contact for customers, addressing issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

5. Product Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of the products or services being sold, enabling the sales executive to effectively explain their value and benefits.
  • Keeping up with industry trends, competitors, and new product developments to remain competitive.

6. Time Management and Organizational Skills

  • Managing time effectively to prioritize sales calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Organizing a schedule that allows for maximum productivity, including prospecting, client visits, and administrative tasks.

7. Problem-Solving

  • Identifying customer challenges and offering solutions that fit their needs, whether through product adjustments, pricing models, or services.
  • Handling objections and issues that may arise during the sales process.

8. Persistence and Resilience

  • Persistence in following up on leads and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Resilience in dealing with rejection and continuing to push for new business.
