Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all import/export activities ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders shipping companies logistic agents and customs brokers to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate documentation including customs declarations shipping documents and other regulatory paperwork.
- Implement and monitor processes to ensure compliance with INCOTERMS and international trade standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays related to shipments logistics or customs.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on shipment statuses and resolve queries.
- Manage budgets and negotiate rates with logistics providers to optimize costs.
- Monitor and analyze logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Residency: Based in Dubai (for UAE region candidates only).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Import/Export Manager in the UAE is mandatory.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Logistics or a related field.
- Language: Professionallevel proficiency in English (native or nearnative).
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with INCOTERMS and international trade laws.
- Strong understanding of customs clearance processes and regulations in the UAE.
- Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
