Roles and responsibilities
As the Content Marketing Manager, you will directly report into the Marketing Manager and help oversee the development and execution of various communication strategies targeted at B2B partners. This includes defining Agoda’s core value propositions, crafting content for C-suite presentations, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across departments to identify and showcase our strengths in the B2B travel sector.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and Implement Content Strategies: Create compelling content that engages B2B audiences, elevating brand awareness and reinforcing Agoda’s value across multiple business units.
- Craft Engaging Content: Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content through editing, proofreading, developing editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Lead and Inspire Teams: Manage a dynamic content strategy team with wide range of skills, providing mentorship and guidance, develop KPIs
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with senior stakeholders to align content strategies with business objectives, identifying strengths and opportunities within Agoda’s B2B offerings
- Analyze and Optimize Content : Collaborate with analysts to monitor content effectiveness and optimize strategies leveraging data insights on all communication to ensure maximum impact.
- Enhance Sales Materials and Strategy: Receive feedback and generate ideas to increase partner engagement
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years in content strategy or related roles. Experience in B2B marketing environment is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in developing content that aligns with business objectives and enhances brand narrative.
- Industry and product Knowledge: Familiarity with the tech and travel industry; experience in the online travel agency sector is a plus.
- Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to substantiate content strategies and value propositions
- Leadership Capability: Experience in senior people management, with a track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.

- Content Production: Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, social media content, articles, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, and newsletters.
- Content Editing: Ensure that all content is well-written, error-free, and optimized for readability, SEO, and engagement. This includes proofreading and editing content from writers or contributors.
- Collaborative Content Creation: Work with subject matter experts, designers, and other internal teams to create diverse content types that engage the target audience and support marketing campaigns.

SEO and Content Optimization:
- SEO Strategy: Collaborate with SEO teams to ensure that all content is optimized for search engines to improve visibility and organic traffic.
- Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify high-ranking search terms and ensure that content incorporates relevant keywords.
- Content Performance Analysis: Use data and analytics to evaluate the performance of content, make data-driven decisions, and optimize content for better results.

Content Distribution and Promotion:
- Multi-Channel Promotion: Distribute content across various marketing channels, including company websites, blogs, social media platforms, email newsletters, paid ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies to share content, increase brand visibility, and engage with the audience.
- Partnerships and Guest Contributions: Work with influencers, industry experts, and third-party publications to expand content reach through guest posts, partnerships, and collaborations.

Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Lead Nurturing: Develop content that supports lead generation and nurturing, creating informative, educational, and valuable content that drives conversions through landing pages, calls to action (CTAs), and email marketing campaigns.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Analyze conversion rates for content assets (e.g., blog posts, landing pages) and work to improve them by optimizing CTAs, improving UX/UI design, and A/B testing content formats.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of content creators, including writers, designers, videographers, and editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing teams (SEO, social media, email marketing), product teams, and design teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives and integrates into larger campaigns.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management, sales, and customer support teams to gather insights and feedback for content development and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
