Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Sales Skills and Techniques

  1. Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation

    • Identifying potential leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
    • Using tools such as CRM software to track prospects and follow up on sales opportunities.
  2. Sales Presentations and Pitches

    • Crafting and delivering compelling sales pitches to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value of products or services.
    • Customizing presentations to meet the specific needs of different clients or target segments.
  3. Negotiation Skills

    • Negotiating terms, pricing, and contract details with clients to close sales and secure profitable deals.
    • Overcoming objections and addressing client concerns effectively to ensure a win-win agreement.
  4. Closing Sales

    • Driving the sales process to completion, ensuring that clients make purchasing decisions.
    • Using closing techniques (e.g., trial closes, urgency creation) to prompt clients to commit.
  5. Product Knowledge

    • Developing deep knowledge of the products or services being sold to communicate their value proposition effectively to clients.
    • Staying updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

Customer Relationship Management

  1. Building and Maintaining Relationships

    • Establishing rapport with clients and building long-term relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
    • Regularly checking in with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
  2. Customer Retention and Upselling

    • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing customers.
    • Implementing customer retention strategies to increase repeat business and reduce churn.
  3. Client Support and Problem Solving

    • Providing post-sale support by addressing customer concerns or issues, ensuring they have a positive experience.
    • Problem-solving to resolve any challenges or roadblocks that may arise during the sales process.

Sales Planning and Strategy

  1. Sales Forecasting

    • Predicting future sales based on market trends, historical data, and current pipeline activity.
    • Working with sales managers and teams to set realistic sales targets and track progress.
  2. Target Setting and Goal Achievement

    • Setting personal sales goals that align with the company’s objectives and striving to meet or exceed them.
    • Regularly reviewing sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, revenue growth) and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  3. Market Analysis

    • Conducting market research to identify new opportunities, potential threats, and competitor activity.
    • Analyzing customer needs and preferences to tailor sales strategies and offers.

Desired candidate profile

Our client is a leading architectural and design firm in Dubai looking for a dynamic Sales Executive within the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business development, generating sales leads, and managing client relationships within the interior design sector.
  • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, understanding client requirements, and providing solutions that align with their needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of interior design and fit-out processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers
  • Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, staying updated on industry trends and new materials.

Min: 3–5-year experience in architectural and design firms.
