Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic Interface Engineer to join our team. The Interface Engineer will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing interfaces between different disciplines contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain interface management plans to identify track and resolve interfaces between various project components disciplines and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers engineering teams contractors and vendors to define interface requirements specifications and deliverables.
- Conduct regular interface meetings and workshops to facilitate communication alignment and resolution of interface issues and conflicts.
- Monitor and track interface deliverables milestones and dependencies to ensure timely resolution and mitigate schedule risks.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather input provide updates and address concerns related to interface management.
- Review engineering drawings documents and specifications to verify compliance with interface requirements and standards.
- Identify and escalate interfacerelated risks challenges and opportunities to project leadership and stakeholders for timely resolution and decisionmaking.
- Coordinate with project controls team to integrate interface activities into project schedules budgets and progress reports.
- Support the development of lessons learned and best practices for interface management contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in interface management preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces on largescale projects including upstream and downstream facilities.
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines project management principles and interface management tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Primavera P6 Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations related to interface management.
