Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for materials and services required by the company.
Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure purchase orders are accurate and meet their requirements.
Track and report on purchase orders shipments and delivery status.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding pricing quality and delivery.
Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions and supplier information.
Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Excellent communication organization and timemanagement skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software.
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
