Job Description:
As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include cleaning tables, assisting wait staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. You will work closely with the kitchen and service team to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up tables with seasonal decorations, candles, and tablecloths.
- Greet and seat customers, provide water refills, and serve beverages.
- Clean and present menus to customers.
- Restock wait staff stations with napkins, utensils, trays, and condiments.
- Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.
- Assist in daily cleaning, opening, and closing tasks.
- Wash and organize dirty dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
- Sweep, mop, and polish the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment as needed.
- Transport used linens to and from the laundry or housekeeping sections.
- Help unload and store inventory and supplies.
