We are seeking a skilled Operations and Maintenance Planner to lead implement and manage detailed schedules for operations and maintenance activities. This role involves close coordination with engineering operations and maintenance teams to ensure efficient planning optimal resource allocation and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive schedules for operations including preventive and corrective maintenance equipment overhauls and project activities.
- Collaborate with engineering operations and maintenance teams to align schedules with project requirements and operational priorities.
- Assess and secure necessary resources (personnel equipment materials) for scheduled activities.
- Assist in developing project plans timelines and budgets for capital and major maintenance projects.
- Analyze scheduling data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Implement best practices in scheduling and planning utilizing advanced tools and techniques.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication to address scheduling requirements and updates effectively.
- Monitor and address scheduling conflicts making adjustments as necessary and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare and distribute scheduling reports performance metrics and other relevant documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure development and execution of an annual operational plan aligned with strategic objectives.
- Meet operational performance indicators and contribute to achieving Emiratization targets in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Provide continuous guidance support and specialized training to team members focusing on performance and development.
- Regularly review improve and develop procedures and policies to ensure high standards and compliance.
- Encourage creativity innovation and sustainability within the team motivating team members to suggest improvements.
- Ensure adherence to corporate excellence security safety and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
Qualification/Certification:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Project Management or a related field.
- Master s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- With a bachelor s degree: 4 to 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling with a strong background in project management and scheduling tools.
- With a master s degree: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
JobSpecific Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Knowledge:
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project) and other project management tools.
Language Requirements:
- English: Required
- Arabic: Preferred but not mandatory
