Job Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club according to established standards.

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping mopping dusting and polishing to ensure a clean and presentable environment for our members and visitors.

  • Ensure that all allocated areas are cleaned according to established standards.

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs and promptly notifying management.

  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Organize and maintain supply rooms ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and readily available when needed.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations including the proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials.

  • Assist members and visitors with any inquiries or requests in a polite and professional manner providing excellent customer service.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club.

  • Perform any other related duties as required by the management team.



Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in multiple areas.

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Ability to write and read in English in order to report workrelated issues.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as required.
