Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist for a leading fitness company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment onboarding as well as overseeing employee benefits holidays and leave management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with departments to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Source and attract candidates through various channels including job boards social media and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability for open positions.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact to job offer ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Onboarding & Orientation:
- Design and implement an effective onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Prepare and deliver orientation programs that introduce new hires to the companys policies culture and values.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during the onboarding process.
Leave & Holiday Management:
- Oversee the administration of employee leaves including annual leave sick leave and other forms of absence.
- Ensure accurate tracking of leave balances and assist employees in managing their timeoff requests.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies concerning leave entitlements.
Employee Relations & HR Compliance:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies benefits and workplace issues.
- Ensure that all HR activities comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures to maintain a fair and productive workplace.
Performance Management & Development:
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems ensuring timely reviews and feedback processes.
- Work with managers to identify employee development needs and career growth opportunities.
- Assist in the development of training and development programs to improve employee skills and engagement.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover recruitment progress leave balances and performance management outcomes.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving HR processes and employee satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proven years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in the fitness industry is a plus.
- Knowledge or the willingness to learn about labor laws of the UAE.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
