Qualifications:
A Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that software products meet high standards of quality through rigorous testing and validation processes. Here are key skills and qualities essential for this position:
Test Planning and Strategy: Expertise in developing comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project requirements and quality standards.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG) to streamline testing processes.
Manual Testing: Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices for functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Coding Skills: Familiarity with programming languages (such as Java, Python, or JavaScript) to develop automated tests and scripts.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify defects, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements.
Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools (like JMeter or LoadRunner) to assess application stability and responsiveness under load.
