Job Description
Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the fitout and construction sector. The ideal candidate will oversee cost estimation budgeting and financial reporting for various projects ensuring that all financial aspects align with project objectives and company goals. This role requires extensive experience in managing project costs conducting valuations and providing strategic financial insights to support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets ensuring cost control throughout project lifecycles.
- Conduct detailed cost estimates valuations and financial reporting.
- Manage contract administration including procurement tendering and subcontract negotiation.
- Monitor and assess project costs identifying areas for costsaving and efficiencies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress assess financial risk and ensure compliance with project budgets.
- Evaluate measure and document variations preparing and submitting claims as necessary.
- Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and financial reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and procurement teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of UAE market rates supplier pricing and trends in the fitout and construction industry.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on fitout and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost management contract administration and tendering processes in the UAE.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and problemsolving skills.
- Strong understanding of UAE construction and fitout regulations and industry standards.

- Ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and delivering costsaving solutions.
Compensation:
- Salary range of AEDper month depending on experience and qualifications.
