Job Description
Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a renowned university in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for managing the universitys tax compliance tax reporting and tax planning functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting possess a thorough understanding of tax laws applicable to educational institutions and exhibit exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Manage and file the university s tax returns including corporate income tax VAT payroll taxes and other applicable taxes.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and timely submission of all taxrelated documents.
Advise university departments on tax implications related to funding donations and other financial activities.
Develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize the institutions financial standing.
Maintain internal tax controls and support tax audits.
Collaborate with financial teams to integrate tax considerations into budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or CA preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of tax accounting experience preferably in higher education or nonprofits.
Strong understanding of tax laws applicable to universities.
Proficient in tax software and financial accounting systems.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.

- Master s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. - Certification or license in psychology preferred. - 7-10 years of experience in psychology or counseling, with at least 5 years working with individuals with disabilities. - Fluency in Arabic and English.
