Job Description

Spa Therapist

We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced Spa Therapist to perform massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies, depending on guest's needs and preferences.

The responsibilities include greeting and welcoming spa guests, informing guests of spa packages, promotions, and rates, and customizing treatments and therapies to suit guests’ needs. You should also be able to recommend additional spa services and up-sell spa products.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
• Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
• Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
  

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Proven experience working as a Spa Therapist.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skil

• Massage Techniques: Proficiency in various massage modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy.

• Skin Care Knowledge: Understanding of skin types and conditions, and proficiency in facials and skincare treatments.

• Anatomy and Physiology: Knowledge of the human body to apply treatments safely and effectively.

• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.

• Communication: Ability to listen to clients’ needs and provide appropriate treatments and advice.

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring high standards in cleanliness and treatment application.

• Time Management: Effectively managing appointment schedules and treatment durations.

• Sales Skills: Ability to promote products and services, enhancing the overall client experience.

• Stress Management Techniques: Knowledge of relaxation techniques to help clients unwind.
