MEP Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled MEP Draftsman to join our team and work closely with the MEP Engineer in converting designs into precise technical drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive Design and AutoCAD Drafting Shop Drawings, As-Built drawings, and other MEP project documentation for ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed MEP drawings, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, based on engineer designs and specifications.
• Draft and revise drawings for electrical, water, sewage, Etisalat, and civil defense systems.
• Ensure drawings are in compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and local regulations.
• Produce accurate As-Built drawings reflecting completed construction for handover and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers and contractors, to ensure drawings meet project needs and timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MEP systems and CAD software advancements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman, with expertise in AutoCAD and drafting MEP systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards for MEP systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
