Design Manager- Furniture Manufacturing

Position: Design Manager Furniture Manufacturing Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates Contract Details: Fulltime for our client Our client a leading furniture manufacturing company based in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join their team. As the Design Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept to production ensuring that the companys furniture products are innovative functional and aesthetically appealing. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design team to develop new furniture designs and improve existing ones Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production sales and marketing to ensure that designs meet customer needs and align with company goals Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to guide design decisions Develop and maintain design standards processes and procedures Conduct regular design reviews and provide feedback to designers to ensure highquality and consistent output Manage the product development timeline and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget Oversee the creation of technical drawings and specifications for production Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure product quality Travel to trade shows and industry events to gather inspiration and stay updated on the latest design trends Mentor and coach designers providing guidance and support for their professional development Requirements: Bachelors degree in Industrial Design Product Design or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in furniture design with at least 2 years in a managerial role Strong portfolio showcasing a range of furniture designs and styles Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment Willingness to travel for business purposes Fluent in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus If you are a creative and resultsdriven Design Manager with a passion for furniture design we want to hear from you!
