We are seeking an experienced and dynamic service manager for our client in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance excellent leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a service manager you will oversee the daytoday operations of the service department ensuring efficient workflow highquality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Management:
- Oversee all operations within the service department including staff management scheduling and workflow.
- Ensure the department operates efficiently meets performance targets and maintains high standards of service quality.
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring all service work meets customer expectations.
- Staff Supervision:
- Recruit train and supervise service technicians and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and implement training programs to enhance staff skills.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the service department budget including revenue targets expenses and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all service and repair work is performed to the highest standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize errors and rework.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee parts inventory ensuring availability of necessary parts while controlling costs.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations safety standards and company policies.
- Promote a safe working environment and address any safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a service manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Requirements
