Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local state and federal regulations
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
Train employees on safety protocols and procedures and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and develop preventive measures
Maintain safety records and reports and provide regular updates to management
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement safety improvements
Stay uptodate with industry safety standards and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies
Provide safety training and support to new hires and temporary workers
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering from governmental universities is a must.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety engineering role for big projects in construction is a must.
Strong knowledge of local state and federal safety regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs and procedures
Ability to analyze data and identify trends to make datadriven decisions
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certifications are a plus
