Why this role

Lead the business development of the Major Project Business in Asia Pacific Middle East Turkey and Africa (APM) including New Equipment Modernization and Service Business. Execute business development initiatives with a focus on customercentricity competitive position market share and profitability. This role focuses on the development of sales sales support marketing major projects and key accounts. Work closely with the Front line and region/country Major Project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

What will you be doing

Safety and Quality

  • Proactively support outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in the Major Project Business
  • Ensure relevant policies are deployed and used

Customers

  • Drive and promote a customercentric culture with outsidein thinking. Develop a strong understanding of the customer and market needs. Drive early customer engagement with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is reflected throughout the business

Business performance

  • Holistic understanding accountability and development of the Major Project Business competitiveness trends growth and profitability
  • Evaluate the results of the Major Project Business activity tenders contracts. Identify recurring problems and take corrective actions
  • Implement KONE Customer processes development of sales skills/tools (e.g. CRM)
  • Implement agreed development programs in cooperation with regions
  • Collaborate with the in country Managing Director as well as other functions such as operations to develop and achieve targets and close gaps across the frontline

Business development

  • Drive the Major Project Business sales offering development and gotomarket actions of new Offers in collaboration with other business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Area and Global colleagues for best practice sharing

Leadership / People management

  • Contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking at the executive level to develop and implement a strategy for New Equipment Modernization and Service Businesses that is aligned with the organizations overall vision and its current and longterm business objectives

Are you the one

  • Experience in people leadership and management. Ability to motivate lead and guide team members effectively.
  • Experience in managing business performance in the building vertical transport construction or relevant B2B environment.
  • Sound understanding of the market and customers business
  • Good in sales management customer relationship management channel management and marketing.
