Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Planning Engineer with experience in large scale projects to join our dynamic team based in Abu Dhabi
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project schedules and plans for airport construction projects ensuring all activities are properly sequenced and integrated.Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules using industrystandard software (e.g. Primavera P6) ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers site managers and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve any planning issues.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress identifying any deviations from the plan and proposing corrective actions.
- Resource Management: Plan and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project schedule and develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports schedules and planning documents.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to provide updates on project status and address any planningrelated queries or concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure all planning activities comply with relevant regulations standards and best practices.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Must be immediately available to join and work in the UAE.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Planning Engineer with a focus on airport construction projects.
- Proven experience working with main contractors on largescale construction projects.
- Proficiency in project planning software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles construction methodologies and airport project requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
