Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions and diseases of the mouth, jaw, and face
- Perform surgical procedures, such as dental extractions, dental implant placement, and corrective jaw surgery
- Provide specialized dental care, including orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma treatment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform dental examinations and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatment plans
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
- Educate patients and their families about oral health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid license to practice as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial
- Completion of residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Proven experience and expertise in performing oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
