Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks within an organization. They configure and manage network hardware, software, and protocols to ensure smooth network operations. Network Engineers also troubleshoot network issues, optimize performance, and ensure network security. They collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and implement network upgrades and enhancements based on the organization's needs and goals.Responsibilities• Design, plan, and implement computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and virtual private networks (VPNs).• Install, configure, and manage network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.• Optimize network performance by fine-tuning network protocols and configurations.• Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and implement network upgrades and enhancements.• Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.• Provide technical support and guidance to users and assist with network-related issues.• Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures.Requirements• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.• Experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco routers and switches.• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals.• Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP
