Acts as the main contact at the IATA slot conference and responsible for the initial slot submission for seasonal schedule as per the IATA slots deadline and in line with IATA policies and procedures.
Designs/ modifies short-term flight schedules based on the commercial, operational, and Engineering requirements
Checks and verifies schedules to identify any inconsistency, mistakes, or discrepancies in schedules prior to validation.
Coordinates with Revenue Management on any cancellations, extra or addition of flights to ensure optimum utilization and yield management
Evaluate rescheduling of flights, and connectivity, communicates with relevant stakeholders accordingly for smooth operations.
Co-ordinates and assists dispatch to manage flight schedule disruptions caused due to AOG or other unforeseen circumstances.
Works closely with Engineering Planning / maintenance teams to finalize scheduling of aircraft for maintenance ensuring smooth checks with minimal disruption.
Establishes/ maintains communication with all free-schedule publishing mediums to ensure Airline’s schedules are widely distributed and updated on regular basis. Coordinates with support teams, mainly Information Technology departments, on systems-related matters such as testing, integration, update, etc
Prepares charter agreements and quotations, plans, loads, and executes schedules to accommodate charter and irregular flights based on agreed plan, availability and airport approvals. Follows up on operations to ensure successful delivery.
Prepare the budget file which includes schedule, forecasted hours, and block hours by sector and circulate to the concerned departments
Works with the partner airlines and completes the necessary activities with respect to codeshare flights which includes updating SSIM, marketing flight numbers and ensuring the flight schedules is synced in all applicable systems.
Performs any other duties as advised by the respective Line Manager.
