Business Designer

Work collaboratively with the business (projects and departments) to understand, collate, and document their requirements of EA and lead the efforts in the overall adoption of the program

2. Develop, manage, and enhance the Enterprise Architecture (EA) meta-model and repository

3. Lead conflict resolution across multiple projects of EA and the EA repository ensuring Customs overall vision is kept intact

4. Own enterprise level business components in the EA repository becoming their steward

5. Work collaboratively with projects and departments to assist in business process analysis and design ensuring compliance with EA Platform

6. Provide subject matter expertise surrounding business processes in assigned areas (project or department)

7. Develop, construct, and simulate business process models in Dubai Customs’ EA platform coordinating discussions with key projects and departments

8. Work closely with technical architects in the identification, sequencing, and implementation of key technologies

9. Research and recommend solutions and approaches that benefit the goals of Dubai Customs

10. Provide subject matter expertise in solutions and models that cross business units’ and departments’ boundaries to provide a holistic approach of EA leveraging synergies for a competitive gain

11. Perform all other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor on time with reliability, honesty, and discretion.
