Structural Engineer - RAK Properties PJSC

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both the conceptual and detailed design of various structures including highrise buildings industrial facilities and mixeduse developments. This role requires expertise in managing the entire design process ensuring compliance with international standards and supervising onsite implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems for both new constructions and renovations using advanced software tools like AutoCAD ETABS SAP2000 and Revit.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects from concept to construction ensuring designs meet client specifications and international building codes (ACI ASCE IBC etc.).
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with construction teams to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Perform structural audits and peer reviews to validate the integrity and efficiency of design solutions.
• Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising structural integrity.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with local authorities and clients to obtain necessary approvals and resolve any design or construction issues.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with various building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problemsolving abilities leadership skills and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
