LAND SURVEYOR

JOB TITLE: LAND SURVEYOR

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team for an exciting Airport project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a proven track record of working on large-scale construction projects, preferably within the aviation industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct detailed surveys of land areas to determine precise measurements and boundaries, utilizing advanced surveying equipment and techniques.

2. Prepare accurate survey reports, maps, and other documentation for use in the planning, design, and construction phases of the Airport project.

3. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure that surveying activities align with project specifications and requirements.

4. Manage surveying teams and coordinate field operations to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

5. Perform quality control checks on survey data and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.

6. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to land surveying practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.

7. Assist in the resolution of any land surveying issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.

8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveying staff members as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in construction and infrastructure projects.

3. Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.

4. Solid understanding of land surveying principles, methodologies, and techniques.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex survey data and make informed decisions.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

7. Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing surveying teams and overseeing field operations.

8. Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS applications.

9. Professional licensure as a Land Surveyor preferred.
