- Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy to expand our client base and achieve sales targets for assigned territories.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and understand customer needs within the logistics sector.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in potential and existing client companies.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase our comprehensive suite of logistics solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Role Requirements (Must-Haves):
- Minimum 10-15 years of successful sales experience in a multinational logistics company. (Air & Sea)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with a consultative selling approach.
- Data-driven and analytical with a strong understanding of sales metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
- The ability to work independently while also effectively managing a team.
