Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, including pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions for repairs or replacements.
• Install and connect piping for water supply, drainage, and sewage systems according to building codes and blueprints.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and perform troubleshooting to identify the root cause of issues, such as leaks, clogs, or low water pressure.
• Develop effective repair plans and execute solutions to restore plumbing systems to proper working condition.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains, inspecting pipes for corrosion or damage, and lubricating fittings.
• Perform inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls, such as burst pipes, sewage backups, or gas leaks, to provide timely repairs and minimize damage.
• Work efficiently under pressure to resolve emergency situations with professionalism and accuracy.
• Communicate with customers to understand their plumbing needs, explain repair options, and provide estimates for services.
• Document work performed, including repairs, replacements, and installations, using written reports or electronic records.
• Provide detailed reports to supervisors regarding the status of plumbing projects and recommended follow-up actions.
