To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless high quality, comprehensive Obstetrical care, we are seeking BE/BC OB/GYN physicians for an inpatient Laborist opportunity. We are forming a new group of five Laborist.

The OB/GYN Laborist will focus on the inpatient care of pregnant women, managing the labor process and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis as well as oversight of the obstetrical emergency department. May also perform minor GYN procedures.

• Cover 1 hospital, UHS Wilson Center South, a 280-bed facility with a Level III NICU

• Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist and Neonatologist available for consults

LOCATION: Johnson City, NY, a bedroom community of Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours North of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. A progressive college community town that offers a large healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra and an opera company.

Position includes a competitive starting salary of $350,000 to $400,000 and higher, plus a highly competitive sign on bonus, annual bonus incentives, moving expenses, and a vast array of employment benefits including a robust retirement plan.
