Job Description
Specific Commodity Experience Preferred.
7 years + Strategic sourcing/category management.
Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned categories.
Conduct Market research and identify cost-effective and innovative solutions .
Manage the Procurement Transformation process, including
- Supplier assessment
- Supplier financial analysis
- RFI, RFQ and RFP’s
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
- Service level agreements
Use leading practice procurement tools to develop and implement the sourcing strategies including :
- Objective decision making
- Category Prioritization (Value Liver Analysis)
- Porter Five Forces Analysis (New Entrant Threat, Buyer Power, Supplier Power, Subsitute Threat, Supply Market Rivalry)
- Scope Advisory
- Strategy Advisory
- Specification Optimization
- PEST Analysis (Political, Economic, Social & Technological)
- SWOT Analysis per Category
- Kraljic Based Relationship (Strategic, Leverage, Bottle Neck, Transactional)
- Demand Management
- Stakeholder Management
- Spend Management & Categorization
- Process Enhancement
