In a BIM Execution Management role, you will be monitoring and governing BIM across the Programme, ensuring data and information developed by consultants and contractors are compliant with client requirements.
Reporting to the BIM manager your primary focus areas will be to: -
- Monitor and support BIM implementation and delivery with programme BIM Standards
- QA/QC of BIM deliverables including COBie and IFC data.
- Overseeing execution of audit checks on drawings and BIM models
- QA/QC of consultants BIM execution plans
- Overseeing Design Coordination / Clash Detection / Construction Sequencing (4D)
- Attending project and programme level BIM meetings
- Supporting Project Leads and Design Managers
Here's What You'll Need
As a successful candidate, you will be degree qualified either in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline and will possess at least 5 years of experience. Recent exposure in BIM Execution on a major construction programme operating in a consultant role will be essential.
Experience
- The ideal candidate should have experience in 3D design of highway and transportation infrastructure projects (roads, railways, airports, ports), as well as experience in working with both consultants/contractors.
- The candidate should also have experience in BIM modelling for utilities design discipline like pressure pipe & gravity pipe systems as a sewerage, drainage, potable water, irrigation, duct crossings, HV, LV, sewerage, drainage, water, irrigation, street lighting, spare duct crossings, road markings & traffic signs etc.
- The candidate should have a solid understanding of BEP preparation/requirements, EIR and ISO 19650.
- The candidate should have a solid understanding of CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise.
- The candidate should possess extensive experience in Autodesk Civil 3D software, along with its associated utilities such as Dynamo, Subassembly Composer, and Part Builder.
- The candidate should also have a strong background in Autodesk Revit for MEP and/or landscape design, as it would be advantageous for the role.
