Driver

• Safely transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and other events as assigned
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Keep the school vehicle clean, maintain it regularly and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with loading and unloading of students and school supplies
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents in a professional and courteous manner
• Keep accurate records of mileage, maintenance, and inspections
• Procure necessary supplies and materials for the school, as requested
• Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined by the school and transportation department
  

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Prior experience using a GPS and navigation system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
