Operational Excellence related:
• Execute activities required to meet the day to day switching operational duties, arranges for necessary staff to carry out procedures and monitors achievement.
• Execute shutdown, isolation, energization of LV network assets to meet the requirements of operations, maintenance, capital projects and/ or any other valid business requirement.
• Review the execution of all corrective and preventive maintenance activities on the LV network including fault repair, replacements, condition monitoring tasks and equipment faults.
• Investigate customer complaints and strives to minimize repetition as well as commonly occurring problems.
• Coordinate the updation of cables/equipment identification in computerized system to maintain accurate and current information at all time.
• Responds to any tripping in networks and investigates for Earth Fault Indicators in the substations. Ensures that the faulty portion of the network is isolated and supply is restored to customers.
