Roles and Responsibilities
The role entails close working with external (Brands, Logistics partners) and take accountability for the end-to-end delivery of tasks to lead merchant success in Apparel, Personal Care & Packaged Food.
- Grow Listings: Manage, Optimize, and continuously grow listings on our marketplace platform
- Brand Sourcing: Plan & manage brand sourcing strategy
- Competition analysis: Pricing/Promotions/Launches & study of industry trends to help our platform stay competitive
- Brand outreach: Reach out to target merchants and engage with them over inperson and virtual meetings to onbaord them
- Platform Proposition: Pitch key platforms benefits to merchants to convert them
- Onboarding: Develop, maintain and close documents, agreements and contracts with brands
- Go-live: Ownership of execution of homepage go-lives, merchandising setups, and error rate reduction
- Negotiations: Take commercial propositions to brands and onboard them on ad & commission-based solutions
Desired Candidate Profile
Specify required technical expertise, previous job experience or certification
- Background in business development is mandatory
- Background in ecommerce is mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a B2C company in Category Management/Vendor Relations
- Sharp, hungry, past record of consistent achievement
- Break-through-a-wall attitude
- Agility to take up multiple roles
- Very (very) high attention to detail
- Top-notch in English communication (written + verbal)
