We have an opportunity for a Senior Controller Analyst (Chief Accountant) to join our Finance team in Almaty, The candidate should meet statutory accounting and tax requirements and ensure accounting and tax compliance with Kazakhstan

Tasks

• All laws and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to accounting, taxes and fees, official statistical accounting, archival work, in the field of social and medical insurance, pension provision, as well as economic, civil, customs, labor, currency legislation, legislation on combating and commercial bribery, legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime
• Judicial practice on taxation, on disputes related to the facts of economic life committed by economic entities, accounting and preparation of accounting (financial) statements
• International financial reporting standards to assess differences vs local reporting standards, the practice of applying these standards advanced domestic and foreign experience in the organization and implementation of internal control of accounting and preparation of accounting (financial) statements
• Formation of accounting & tax policy in accordance with accounting legislation and corporate policies
• Monitor changes in accounting and tax laws, accounting requirements and inform BU s increase tax compliance and reporting awareness within business units
• Ensure all accounts are recorded and reported on time and in full compliance with Kazakh GAAP and lead (review & approve) the daily operations
• Formation of accounting policy in accordance with the legislation on accounting of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on the structure and characteristics of the organization's activities, the need to ensure its financial
• Conduct work on the organization of an internal control system for the correctness of business transactions, compliance with the order of document flow, technology for processing accounting information and its protection from unauthorized

Requirements

• A person with a higher professional (economic) education
• 5-7 years of practical work experience (at least five years out of the last seven calendar years of work related to accounting, preparation of accounting (financial) statements or with auditing activities)
• Bi-lingual: Russian and Kazakh English for corporate communication.
• Holding a certificate of a professional accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be appointed to the position of Chief Accountant (DipIFR certificate is welcomed)
