We are looking for a Business Development Manager with Mechanical Engineering background for International Market (GCC, South Africa and Australia). The ideal candidate must have minimum 7 Years business development experience in International Market.
Requirements
- Location: UAE / Chennai
- Minimum 7 Years - Sales/BD experience – International Market (In GCC, South Africa and Australia) – Should have through understanding on Industrial market demands in mentioned geographies.
- Age Band: 32 – 36 Years
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is must, MBA is preferred.
- Must Have Product Experience: Industrial Gear Box / Infrastructure Equipment
- Good understanding on the Crusher / Mining / Construction Market dynamics.
- Good understanding of Industrial Gear box / applications
- Good level of English communication skills - verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Good technical knowledge & analytical skills
- Negotiations and Business development skills
Responsibilities
- Should have a good understanding of Mechanical Power transmission products / applications.
- Should have through Experience and understanding in OEM development.
- Should have experience in Channel / Network development for Industrial Gear Box for mentioned geographies.
- He should have experience in solution selling and train team on the concept.
- Should have through understanding on Inco terms and international banking system.
- Should have understanding on international logistics – shipping / customs / clearing and forwarding rules for the mentioned geographies.
- Should have understanding on export document legalization / product inspection rules / approval process.
- Should have worked for Sales forecasting / Annual operating plan / Days sales outstanding (DSO)
- Lead Generation- through digital and direct search and develop prospect list of customers.
- Cold calls, generate interest, sample submission, and develop new customer base for the focus regions.
- Coordinate for Agreement and contract signing with new customers/agents as required with collaboration with the legal team.
- Enquiry handling - Preparation of Techno commercial sales proposal, RFQ and RFI responses as needed.
- Constant touch with existing customers to generate order and increase share of business.
- To take care of customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Co-ordination with key plant personals and other cross functional teams to ensure seamless billing, shipment, and documentation.
- To monitor individual customer contribution and take necessary price correction, as necessary.
- Monthly reporting of key sales indicators pertaining to the region.
- In summary, should have the ability to bring new business to the company and develop the mentioned geography.
