TPF Recruitment are supporting a highly reputable Top 30 firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an R&D Director or Partner to join their This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the UKs market leading firms where you will play an instrumental role in managing your own client portfolio and looking after a team of experienced consultants, helping to further the business R&D tax
As an R&D Tax Director or Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Managing your own client portfolio
- Managing the full end to end R&D process from claims, technical interviews, report writing, financial analysis, billing and risk procedure
- Quoting and budgeting for work, and managing the relevant timescales
- Liaising with HMRC and supporting Partners with enquiries
- Supporting the Partners with the direction and growth of the business
- Reviewing the work of, and training more junior staff
- Networking, marketing and businesses development
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification ( CTA, ACA, CA).
- High level of tax technical knowledge of the UK s R&D tax
- Experience in preparing and submitting R&D tax relief claims in all sectors
- Knowledge of different claim methodologies, especially any industry specific challenges, over a broad range of
- Experience in responding to HMRC enquiries
- Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio
