STRUCTURAL BIM COORDINATOR

Structural BIM Coordinator to join our team and take a lead role in the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design coupled with expertise in BIM software applications. The Structural BIM Coordinator will work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the effective integration of BIM technologies from conceptualization to construction.

Responsibilities:

1. BIM Implementation:
   • Lead the implementation of BIM processes for structural engineering projects.
   • Collaborate with structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate BIM into project workflows.
2. Model Development:
   • Create manage and oversee the development of 3D structural models using BIM software.
   • Ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with industry standards in BIM models.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct regular quality checks on structural BIM models to verify compliance with project requirements.
   • Address and resolve discrepancies or issues identified during quality checks.
4. Collaboration:
   • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams to enhance BIM implementation efficiency.
   • Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes.
5. Standards Compliance:
   • Ensure adherence to established BIM standards protocols and best practices.
   • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
6. Coordination Meetings:
   • Organize and lead coordination meetings to discuss BIMrelated issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
7. Documentation:
   • Prepare and maintain BIM documentation including structural models protocols and guidelines.
   • Generate reports and updates to communicate project progress and challenges.
8. Problem Resolution:
   • Address and resolve BIMrelated challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
   • Collaborate with project teams to find innovative solutions to complex structural issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in BIM software applications (e.g. Revit Tekla Structures).
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards for structural engineering.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative fastpaced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations
