We are recruiting for a Senior Equities Analyst for our client a leading asset management firm. As a Senior Equities Investment Analyst your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive due diligence on a wide range of investment opportunities within the equity market spanning both regional and global markets. Your analysis will encompass various equity instruments including public equities IPOs structured products derivatives funds and private equity (both direct and indirect). This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling valuation techniques and portfolio management. You will play a crucial role in providing investment recommendations and presenting your findings to the investment committee.
Job Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence on Investments: You will be responsible for researching and evaluating potential investment opportunities. This includes analyzing financial statements assessing market conditions and conducting indepth company research to identify investment risks and opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Utilize your expertise in financial modeling to create complex models for various investment scenarios. This will involve building detailed financial projections performing discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses and employing sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different variables on investment outcomes.
- Valuation Techniques: Apply various valuation methods such as DCF comparable company analysis and precedent transactions to determine the fair value of assets or companies under consideration. Your valuation skills will be instrumental in making informed investment decisions.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize investment portfolios to achieve specific financial goals and riskadjusted returns. You will be responsible for asset allocation rebalancing and monitoring portfolio performance.
- Recommendations and Presentations: Summarize your research findings and investment analysis into clear actionable recommendations. Present these recommendations to the investment committee articulating the rationale behind your proposed investment strategies.
- Requirements:
To excel in this role you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Excellent Financial Modeling: Demonstrate proficiency in financial modeling techniques particularly in the context of equity investments. Your ability to construct accurate financial models is critical for assessing investment opportunities.
- Industry Experience: Ideally you should have prior experience in a family office asset management firm equity research role or investment banking. This experience will provide you with the necessary background to analyze complex investment opportunities effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential to dissect financial data assess risks and make informed investment decisions.
- Communication: Effective communication skills are crucial for presenting your findings and recommendations to the investment committee in a clear and concise manner. Bilingual communication in Arabic and English would be strongly preferred
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions and evolving investment strategies is important in this role.
As a Senior Equities Investment Analyst you will play a pivotal role in shaping investment strategies and helping to achieve the financial objectives of the organization. Your expertise in financial analysis and valuation will be instrumental in making informed investment decisions that align with the companys goals.
