Site Supervisor

• Confer with Engineering staff to interpret material requirements as specified on engineering drawings and specification documents.
  
• Analyze procurement requirements, identify and mitigate risks, and help manage the procurement of materials and services.
  
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, plan and schedule.
  
• Process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  
• Utilize the ERP system efficiently for planning, purchasing, expediting and receipt of materials; and identifies opportunities for improvement in the ERP system and procedures
  
• Coordinate purchase order/receipt/invoice issue resolution between the requester, receiver, supplier and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate receipt and payment of goods.
  
• Manage vendor agreements; correspondence, documentation, certifications, and product delivery.
  
• Prepare change order agreements for awards in progress.
  
• Process returns and claims for defectives, shortfalls and missing parts.
  
• Monitor relevant global supply chain and industry trends to support sourcing decisions, new vendor qualification and supplier performance analysis.
  
• Other purchasing related guidance and support as required.
  

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s Degree in Business or Engineering technology with/or equivalent combination of work experience in procurement of materials related to Equipment.
  
• 2-5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiations skills.
  
• Strong communication skills; both oral and written.
  
• Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft applications (Excel and Word).
  
• Detail oriented and accurate.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and balance priorities.
  
• Good problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate with different teams.
  
• Possesses an understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing processes.
